For 10+ years Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit (GIGD) has partnered with Downtown Detroit Partnership, Block by Block, and the Penske racing team to recruit and train individuals to work as Clean Downtown Ambassadors for the Detroit Grand Prix 3-day event. We are thankful for partners who continue to work with GIGD and believe in our mission.  

 

GIGD and Goodwill’s Green Works leadership generated record numbers training and hiring 100+ Clean Downtown Ambassadors to 

Provide hospitality and litter pickup services on Belle Isle for a total of one month. Thank you to all of our partners including the Goodwill Detroit staff assisting to spread the word about this seasonal employment opportunity.
